Pack 336 will be participating in the Arlington Heights Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 26th. Assembly for the parade begins on the corner of Sigwalt and Arlington Heights at 9:00am. The parade participants will line-up on the north side of Sigwalt. Our position number this year is 24. Cub Scouts participating in the parade will need to be in full uniform. This includes hat, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, tucked in shirt, and clean shorts or pants (no torn or stained jeans, cut-offs, soccer shorts, basketball shorts, track shorts, warm-up pants, and sweat pants). For safety we are discouraging the use of in-line skates, skateboards, scooters, and bicycles. The scouts may bring candy to distribute but this will be left to the den leaders discretion. Please note the parade starts promptly at 9:30am. At position 24 we will begin marching much earlier than previous years.
Pack 336 will be participating in the Prospect Heights Independence Day parade on Friday, July 4th. Assembly for the parade will be in the Atlantis Parking lot. The assembly time is to be determined. Our position is to be determined on the parade day. Again Cub Scouts participating in the parade will need to be in full uniform. This includes hat, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, tucked in shirt, and clean shorts or pants (no torn or stained jeans, cut-offs, soccer shorts, basketball shorts, track shorts, warm-up pants, and sweat pants). For this parade we encourage all the scouts to ride their favorite bicycle, scooter, skateboard, or in-line skates. We also encourage them to decorate their ride with streamers, flags, banners, etc. Anyone participating and riding will have to wear a helmet at all times. No exceptions. Scouts who are wearing helmets are excused from wearing their hat. The boys may bring candy to distribute but this will be left to the den leaders discretion.
